With Election Day less than a month away, the political handicapping has begun.
With Election Day less than a month away, the political handicapping has begun. Barack Obama holds a double-digit lead in national polls and the more-important Electoral College map suggests an even starker reality for the McCain/Palin campaign. What's more is the outlook for the House and Senate races. With commentators suggesting as high as a 30-seat pickup in the House and 5-9 Senate seats for Democrats, the reality may be even more startling. The Democratic Congresssional Campaign Committee continues to add candidates to its Red-to-Blue effort and polls numbers continue to mount. Our prediction: safe Democratic majorities in the House and Senate come January!
