Patricia A. Cole is Vice President for Government Relations for Ledge Counsel, Inc. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cole consulted on children and family policy. A government relations expert, Pat worked 15 years in Government, plus 5 years as a Professional Staff Member with the Senate Subcommittee on Children, Family, Drugs, and Alcoholism under the leadership of then-Chairman Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT). Her work with the Subcommittee focused on early childhood care and education, including federal support for Head Start and child care. In addition, Ms. Cole worked as a Senior Evaluator and Project Director with the U.S. General Accounting Office on issues surrounding welfare, poverty, child care, and child welfare.
